SHORT & ELEGANT

Anne Hathaway was the only one who opted for a short silhouette and it was beyond exquisite. She looks wonderful in this black strapless Oscar de la Renta shimmering tiered dress and fabulous red peep-toes Louboutins. Talking about channelling Audrey Hepburn!

I appreciate award shows like the Tony Awards and Oscars because they represent true actors and not these silly actresses on shows like "Gossip Girls" or "The Hills" which are just pretty girls with no talent and within two years their so call career is over because the teenagers have move on to the next hot new actor.

DELICIOUS JEWEL TONES

Chandra Wilson looks gorgeous in this emerald embellished Alberto Makali dress. This empire waist and flowy bottom works well with her body type.

Marcia Gay looks wonderful in her emerald pleated Carmen Marc Valvo strapless dress.



Emerald was certainly the popular color tonight. Josefina Scagliono looks beautiful in this strapless Jason Wu belted dress.

Laura Benanti looks fantastic in this turquoise sweet-heart strapless dress and her statement necklace is simply divine.

Lauren Graham chartreuse one-shouldered dress is beautiful but what is up with the black bow one the bottom of her dress? It just look so out of place.

Magenta is one of my favorite colors because it looks so radiant on the red carpet. Jessica Lange looks sensational in this Zac Posen trickle down ruffled dress.



Haydn Gwynme looks magnificent in this purple embellished one-shouldered dress. I am loooving all of this color! Did these women get my color memo?

Allison Janney is giving me Jessica Rabbit in this sexy grape Gustavo Cadile strapless dress.

Sutton Foster tangerine golden dress is beyond delicious.

Piper Perabo went a little funky in this blush adorned with chains Malandrino dress.

I am not too crazy about Edie Falco blue and gold crinkled dress but the color looks amazing with her beautiful blue eyes.

Bebe Neuwirth black and white sheer dress is indeed lovely.

Gina Gerhanon plunged neck halter dress is Va Va Voom! I am not going ga-ga over her bouffant though. It's a little too Jersy girl for my taste.

Jane Fonda is still hanging in there! She looks great in this black encrusted Monique Lhuillier belted dress.

Stockard Channing is one of the greatest actresses to this day. She looks sophisticated in this black satin dress paired with a pretty red necklace.
