2009 Inaugural Ball :President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama

Simply Flawless! First Lady Michelle Obama looked like an angel in this white one-shouldered chiffon Jason Wu dress. I love Michelle Obama because she picked a young and up-and-coming designer to represent a change in America. I know 26 year old Jason Wu is dancing in his designer shoes right now!

I have cried, cheered, and just thank God all day long. This is one of the greatest moment of my life. I enjoyed President Obama speech, and one important thing I received from his speech is change is not going to happen over night. It's up to all of us to serve, and help each other. We can't sit down, and not do anything to help one another, and expect a change. We can't look to Barack Obama, we have to look to God because God is the one who put Barack Obama in this leadership position, and we have to continue to pray for him for the next four years.

The most memorable moments of tonight was a teenager who brought her grandfather from Detroit to witness this historical moment. He walked with Dr. Martin Luther King, met Nelson Mandela, when he was freed from captivity for 26 years, and he broke down, and cried when he mentioned being part of the historic event of the first African- American President, Barack Obama.

I don't want "Yes We Can" to become another meaningless cliche'. We have to believe in it in our minds, and spirits!
