The 4th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon honored Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Viola Davis and Loretta Devine for their positive work in Hollywood.
I look forward for this event every year because it's such an honor to see all of these beautiful, intelligent and talented African-American women all together and supporting one another.
Angela Bassett is giving me pure glamour in her amazing silver ruffled dress. I adore this dress on her.
I love her pink pop of color crocodile clutch but her BBH are killing me. I wished she wore a magenta or dark purple peep-toes instead.
Gabrielle Union is channeling Dorothy Dandridge in her divine black patterned Douglas Hannant dress.

Kimora Lee is pretty in pink in her draped one shouldered dress paired with silver slingbacks.
I wonder since she left "Baby Phat" that she doesn't feel compel to look gaudy any longer. She has been looking softer lately and I am loooving it!
Nicole Ari Parker looks fabulous in her nude striped A.L.C. dress.
I am not too fond of her BBH but I am still looooving her hair.
I am a fan of pantsuits but I am not liking Garcelle Beauvais ill fitting pantsuit at all.
The jacket is beyond boring and the skinny pants are just way too tight.
I am the queen of pop of color but fuchsia and electric blue is just not working well together. She needs to stick with just one pop of color.
Viola Davis looks beyond beautiful in her black textured David Meister embellished dress.

Anika Noni Rose looks chic in her blue belted sheath Tahari dress paired with black heels.
I am not crazy about her weave because it's a little too much on the bottom.
Kimberly Elise looks refreshing in her multi printed one-shoulder dress. The colors are fabulous on her.
She completed her look with a metallic clutch and strappy sandals.
Vanessa Bell Calloway still looks great after all these years. She looks red hot in her one-shouldered one dress paired with a python clutch and nude heels.
I wish I can say the same about her grandma hair. It ages her at least ten years.
Hallelujah! Loretta Devine finally got it right!
The actress looks amazing in her electric blue draped dress paired with peep-toe heels.
I love her chic hair with fabulous highlights.
