President hopeful Barack Obama and Michelle Obama
When I first met Michelle Obama in 2003 it was in my boutique on the Gold Coast in Chicago, I knew Michelle had a certain style and sophistication when she entered the room. My favorite look is the purple crepe belted sheath dress by Chicago designer Maria Pinto. Michelle love beads, belts and streamlined silhouettes. Everyone is comparing her style to Jackie Kennedy Onassis. I totally agree that Michelle Obama has the beauty and grace as my number one fashion icon Jackie "O" but Michelle Obama is not quite there yet but she is definitely on her way!
