Anna Paquin was trying too hard to be different and it didn't pay off at all.
Her black and gold encrusted Alexander McQueen rise and fall dress was just a disaster on the actress. Everything overpowered her from the heavy embellished armour to the messy skirt. She was way too petite for this silhouette.
Someone like Cate Blanchett is pretty much the only one who can bring this dress to life.
