This week challenge was about transforming recent college graduates into professionals for the real world. My Liberian Diva Korto was of course once again in the top three. She was paired with Meagan, a Biologist. She wanted a youthful but professional look and Korto did a fantastic job as always. The jacket was interesting and beautifully made.
Jerell was paired with Caitlin, an Artists Assistant. He gave her a youthful but yet professional look. The frilly blouse, high-waisted skirt with the cardigan is totally modern for a girl in her twenties. He was the winner, I loved this look but I really thought Kenley should had won.
Kenley was paired with Anna which was her mini me. They were so much alike. Anna is a Fashion Buyer(my job) and her look was sensational and appropriate for her field. Kenley is the Queen of prints!
The Bottom Three Designers
Oh Joe. I was in shock of this foolishness! He managed to turn a beautiful vibrant twenty-year old girl into a 50 year old frumpy woman. He was paired with Laura, a funky Graphic Designer and he put her in a 1985 pinstriped suit. It was about time he got booted off, long time overdue!Suede was paired with Avital, a photographer. This whole look was a catastrophe! What the hell was he thinking mixing a utility jacket with a printed dress?...Just Dated and Hideous!
Leanne was paired with Holly, an elementary school teacher. Leanne had this adorable girl looking like someones grandma! The only thing save this old lady ensemble was the cute dress underneath.
The designers had to design for recent college graduates and they had to transform them into young professionals. The twist was they were accompany with their over-bearing mothers. Korto is a hip mom so she did well. Poor Leanne had the worst pushy mom but she handled it well. Kenley continued to get on my nerves being overly confident again but her work is always on point so I can't be mad at her. Joe and Suede did not have a clue for this challenge. Joe turn his girl into a grandmom and Suede turned his girl into a tacky hot mess! The mothers were so happy to see their daughters walked the runway regardless of the outcome.
