May I please, have a drum roll.... okay, I will stop with all the
dramatics.

It's that time of the year for my best dresses and pantsuits of the
year. Each year, I try to narrow it down to ten, and it's virtually
impossible.

The Goddess herself Iman was my number one pick in her breathtaking
peach J. Mendel creation she wore to the 4th BET Honors.

Gabrielle Union and Jennifer Lopez finished off my top 3. Gabby stun in
her turquoise Rachel Roy and JLo got her groove back in hot applique
Atelier Versace dress.

Monica, Kerry Washington, and Amber Riley are displaying how to wear
black without looking boring on the red carpet.

These women exhibit extraordinary style and confidence whenever they
are on the red carpet. I am looking forward to seeing more of them next
year.

I just want to thank everyone for their support and comments this year.
Whether you visit daily or occasional, I am bless to have fashion
lovers that find time in their busy lives to come into my world.

This has been a tough year for me in my personal life, so it's a joy to
share fabulous fashions with my blog family.

I hope everyone has a blessed New Year and of course always be
fashionable!

Best Dressed Diva Of 2011: Emma Stone

Emma Stone won my heart over with her fabulous and fashion-forward style this year. She was not even on my radar until she wore that stunning color-block peplum Giambattista Valli ensemble to the 'Friends With Benefits' New York premiere.

The talented actress always has us guessing what is she going to wear next? She mixed things up by rocking gorgeous Chanel and Lanvin pieces to whimsical Tom Ford and Giambattista Valli silhouettes.

I can not wait for awards season, because I know she is going to bring on the drama!

Worst Dressed Diva Of 2011: Nicki Minaj

For the first time in a long time, someone beat Lil Kim for the title of Worst Dressed Diva of the year!

Nicki Minaj is a beautiful girl with a body of death. I just hate that she continues to rock these ridiculous costumes.

I encourage everyone to express your personal style, but it's a thin line between looking unique verses looking like a clown!

Best Designer Of 2011: Cushnie et Ochs

Designers Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs

Since Jessica Alba wore her sexy
one-shoulder Cushnie et Ochs on the red carpet back in 2010 AMA Awards,
I took notice of designers Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs.

Their garments are revealing without being tacky. The dynamic duo knows
how to make a woman's body look incredible.

Their Spring 2012 collection consists of more ladylike flair dresses.
Supermodel Liya Kebede looked extraordinary in their canary yellow
ensemble.

It was refreshing to see new, hot designers garment on the red carpet.

Model Of The Year: Nyasha Matonhodze

When I first view the Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 campaign, I had to do a double-take, because I thought the model was Naomi Campbell. With further investigation, I realize it was the break-out model Nyasha Matronhode.

The 16 year old Zimbabwean beauty won the 2009 Elite Model Look Contest of the United Kingdom. She has a face an angel and a body of sin.

Nyasha was feature in over fifty runway shows of the Spring 2012 such as Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli Lanvin, Donna Karan and Balenciaga just to name a few.

The girl is shutting it down on the catwalk. Finally, someone who is giving Naomi a run for her money!

Best Cocktail Dresses Of 2011

Cocktail dresses are my favorite silhouettes on the red carpet, because they can be elegant, sparkling and whimsical.

My favorite dress was Kerry Washington in her ivory swirl asymmetric Donna Karan tulle creation.

The key to a successful cocktail dress is to make sure it has color, sheen and texture. The days of the little black dress are long gone. All of these dresses have some oomph!

New Year Eves is right around the corner, so grab your martini and your fabulous cocktail dress and dance the night away ( or in my case, watch a marathon of Project Runway)!
